Kitchen Tiling in West London
From a neat metro splashback to a full porcelain kitchen floor, we tile kitchens to a clean, precise finish that's easy to live with.
What we do
Kitchen splashbacks and floors, set out with care
Splashbacks are where small mistakes show. Every cut around sockets, window reveals and the ends of worktops is on display, so we take our time setting out and use the right tools to keep edges clean.
For kitchen floors we check the subfloor first. Kitchens take heavy use and heavy units, so a flat, solid base is essential. We level where needed and can fit electric underfloor heating beneath the tiles.
We're happy to work alongside your kitchen fitter, or to handle tiling as part of a wider kitchen refurbishment.
Robert Rajz tiles every kitchen himself. He's an NVQ Level 3 qualified tiler with 18 years' experience, holds a Gold CSCS card and is fully insured, and on a splashback that's on show every day he'd rather be the tiler you're glad you paid for than the lowest quote you regret.

Process
How a kitchen tiling job runs
- 01
Survey: walls and floor are checked, and sockets, window reveals and worktop ends are noted for setting out.
- 02
Order of work: timings are agreed with your kitchen fitter, so units and worktops are in before the splashback is tiled.
- 03
Preparation: uneven walls are corrected, and kitchen floors are levelled where needed to take heavy units.
- 04
Setting out: the first row of the splashback is set level along the worktop, with cuts planned around every socket and reveal.
- 05
Tiling: splashbacks, feature walls and floors are tiled with clean edges at every cut.
- 06
Finishing: the joints are grouted and the worktop junction is sealed with silicone.

FAQ
Kitchen Tiling: questions
Do you tile before or after the kitchen is fitted? +
Splashbacks are usually tiled after the units and worktops are in, so the tiles finish down to the worktop. Floors are sometimes tiled before the units go in. We work alongside your kitchen fitter rather than fitting kitchens.
Can you tile a kitchen feature wall? +
Yes. Feature walls are set out so the pattern or bond runs evenly across the wall and the cuts fall at the edges.
What tiles suit a kitchen floor? +
Porcelain and stone are common choices for kitchen floors because they cope with heavy use and heavy units. Whatever you choose, the subfloor is checked and levelled first.
Can you add underfloor heating in a kitchen? +
Yes, we can fit electric underfloor heating beneath kitchen floor tiles. The electrical connection and testing are done by a qualified electrician.
