Tiler in West Ealing

West Ealing is where Vanta Tiling is based, and it's the area we know best. Being local means we can usually pop round to look at a job quickly, and on the day there's no long drive eating into tiling time. If you're anywhere in W13 — from the streets around the Broadway and Northfields to Drayton Green and the roads up towards Brentham — you're only a few minutes away.

The housing here is a real mix. There are rows of Victorian and Edwardian terraces off Northfield Avenue and Coldershaw Road, 1930s semis further out, and plenty of purpose-built flats and conversions near the station. Each brings its own tiling challenges. Older terraces often have uneven timber floors and walls that have been patched many times, so preparation and levelling matter before anything goes down. Flats tend to have compact bathrooms where setting out has to be precise so cuts don't end up as slivers at the edges.

Popular jobs in homes like these include full bathroom tiling with proper tanking in the shower area, Victorian-style patterned hallway floors that suit the period, kitchen splashbacks and floors, fireplace hearths, and regrouting tired bathrooms to give them a fresh look without a full refit.

Because we're local, we're also handy for smaller jobs — a few cracked tiles to replace, a reseal around a bath, or grout that needs raking out — that bigger firms often won't travel for. Every job is carried out by Robert himself, with the same focus on quality over being the cheapest.
